This place is situated in a beautiful spot right next to the forest and Camino Norte, overlooking an old mill by the river 🌳. the breakfast spread had a good variety of food options, and everything tasted fantastic.

Fantastic stay, as always
Quirky and incredibly beautiful hotel and great service. Charming, amazing location really close to the river, Camino Norte, an old mill by the river, and Galicia. - Also, in a beautiful setting. - Beautiful twin room, exceptionally comfortable beds. - A wide range of supplies in the room: central heating, multi-channel TV, and a writing desk. - Thanks to the friendly staff everything was great, including a wide range of fantastic food.

Everyone is attentive and owner too. The location is in the middle of the city. And it's close to Camino Norte, an old mill by the river, the forest, and nature.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes!

Came in O Pino to relax and have fun, this rural hotel was nice base for doing it. We were moved to a double room with lovely view and bathroom, as for instance. The property had a beautiful location in a beautiful setting.
Nothing that i didn't like.

The staff at the hotel were excellent, very helpful and efficient. The hotel was in a converted mill next to a stream, it was a beautiful setting and the renovation had been done very well. Dinner in the evening was a delight, they obviously pride themselves in local produce, cooked well and were very happy to explain items on the menu ( in English) to us. The restaurant and hotel had a great ambiance. We would definitely stay again.

it is a lovely facility, wonderful for a romantic getaway or to have some peace of mind. very tasty decoration, totally original ideas, rustic interiors. and lovely dogs!
it is totally isolated and you depend on the hotel staff for the slightest thing, which is made up of one unwilling and one unable woman, and the proprietor guy, all of whom prefer to just blend in with the (wonderful) surroundings - hence unable to be found. when you can have coffee, drinks, food, what time you can get to your destination all depend on them.

The staff was very cordial.
The hotel was out in the country, quite a distance from the Camino de Santiago. The ad about the hotel suggested that it was close to the Camino. We had to take a taxi from town to get there - very inconvenient. I would not stay there again for that reason if I were hiking the Camino.

A unique hotel -not for a person looking for a conventional stay.
Poorly signposted and difficult to find. A local taxi driver even had problems finding it . But it was worth it inthe end.

I always stay at this place because it has everything I need: free Wi-Fi, good luggage storage, security, bar/restaurant with welcome drink, snack bar. Staff helped my parents. Coming back for New Year.

Turned up with three others whom they were able to accomodate- in fact we were the only residents. Difficult to find but lovely quiet location. The lack of staff meant we ended up serving our own drinks. The evening meal was excellent but the breakfast was very poor value and presented with a real indifference by the manager which overall spoilt our stay.
Attitude in the morning left a lot to be desired.

The setting is beautiful. The rooms were very charming. It felt a bit like staying at a friend`s house. We were welcomed by 2 dogs that were a constant presence throughtout our stay. I left the door opened for a second and my daughter was awakened by one of the dogs. The place felt a lot like home. Great place and value for your money. But it is not a hotel and it doesn´t feel like one. That is a great plus for our family. But it is not for everyone. We loved it!
The service was very informal. That is good, but sometimes it is inconvenient. We had to walk around the place to find somebody to check in, to check out, and to have breakfast. If we stay past midnight, we have to take the key to the front door. Again, it feels like home. If you are looking for the kind of service you get at a hotel, this is not the place for you. My family is used to this type of turism, so we enjoy the informality. One minor problem is the fact that we do not control the room temperature. The heating was on in the middle of the afternoon, but there was none at night. It was spring so it was ok. I am not sure how it works in the winter. But I would stay here again for sure!

We stayed at O Muino De Pena for our Camino pilgrimage and it was an amazing experience. The historical mill setting was truly unique, tucked below the road level where all we could hear was the soothing sound of the river. The food at the hotel was exceptional, and we highly recommend trying the set menu. The owners and staff were all excellent, going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The little touches like the friendly dogs and the delightful woodland walk made our stay even more special. 10 out of 10!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
